Free Delivery Across AustraliaThe By Carmont Tone doormat in Truffle is a softly textured PET doormat in a warm mushroom taupe. Brown and grey fibres are woven together to create a deep, tonal finish that reads warmer and darker than the other colours in the Tone collection.
Its depth makes Truffle particularly easy to use with darker timbers, deeper neutrals and rooms that need grounding at floor level. It brings texture to a room without introducing a strong colour or pattern.
Tone is made from hard-wearing PET fibre, chosen for its practicality as much as its appearance. It is stain, weather and fade resistant, easy to clean and suitable for both indoor and outdoor spaces, making it a particularly useful choice for busy homes, rentals and areas that need to cope with everyday wear.
The Tone doormat measures 60 x 120cm. Coordinating floor rugs and runners are also available.
Yes, Tone is a good choice for exactly that kind of use. PET is a practical, hard-wearing fibre that is resistant to stains and moisture and is easy to clean, making it well suited to entrances in busy households, rental properties and other areas that take constant use.
Yes, Tone is suitable for indoor and outdoor use. Its PET fibre is weather and fade resistant, so it copes with rain and direct sun, and it works equally well just inside the door.

By Carmont was founded by a Sydney interior designer who couldn’t find outdoor rugs refined enough to sit alongside the rest of a well-designed home. The result is a range of rugs, runners, rounds and doormats, handmade using traditional weaving techniques and designed to move easily between indoors and out.
Each piece is woven by a women-led artisan collective in India, where By Carmont provides fair, secure work for skilled craftswomen. For every rug sold, the brand also donates to a women’s and children’s shelter.
