At 60% wool and 40% natural jute, the Carter runner has a warmth and give underfoot that purely natural jute runners do not offer.
Available in 3m and 4m at 80 cm wide and 6m lengths at 90 cm wide, the Carter handles everything from a standard hallway to a long staircase run or an extended open-plan corridor. The 6m option is particularly useful for staircases or passages where most jute runners fall short on length.
The combination of wool and jute means the runner has a slightly richer, more textured surface than plain natural jute, with the grey and white wool tones adding quiet depth to the overall appearance. Each runner is handwoven, and the wool-jute blend creates slight variations between pieces that are characteristic of the handcrafted process.
