The whitewash treatment gives the natural jute a pale, bleached quality that reads lighter and cooler than plain natural jute, while retaining all the texture and tactility of the handwoven boucle construction.
Available in a 3m length at 80 cm wide, the Vincent runner suits standard hallways and kitchen passages. The lighter tonal quality of the whitewash makes it particularly effective in darker hallways and corridors where a natural jute runner might visually recede, and in coastal or Scandinavian interiors where a pale, textured floor layer works with the overall palette.
Handwoven from natural jute, the whitewash finish creates slight variation in tone across the surface as it sits with the natural jute base. Each runner is handwoven, and tonal variation across the whitewash is part of the artisanal character.
Each rug is handmade, meaning no two are exactly alike. Variations in texture and weave are natural characteristics of the artisanal process and are considered a unique feature of the product.
